About me
Sport achievements.
4-times Olympic Champion, 9-times World Champion, 7-times European Champion in synchronized swimming, the best European swimmer of 2008 (LEN).
Born 08.04.1983 in Moscow – Russia.
When I was 4 years old I joined a choreography school in Moscow, where I began my first steps in the world of the creative work, dance and art.
My sport career began in 1988 when a five-year-old girl successfully passed the selection for a group of synchronized swimming.
From this moment the sport became the most important part of my life and the gold medals were unique goals to reach.
Because of the shoulder injury, which happened in 2002 during one of the competitions, I needed to get a surgery in 2009 to be able to continue my sport career and preparation for the third Olympic Games in London 2012. Unfortunately, the surgery didn`t resolve the problem and I made a decision to leave the professional sport and to start my coach career.
2010 – 2012 I worked with the Kazakhstan National Team, in particular as a coach and choreographer for the Olympic Duo.
2011 worked with Austrian Olympic Duo as a choreographer (technic and free routines)
October 2011 – today: coach of the Italian Club and choreographer for the Italian National Team
Nowadays I organize stages and personal trainings for the athletes from around the world who want to improve the technic or general skills, work as choreographer for national teams worldwide.
In 2015 I became a member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
I wrote the book “Dancing in the water” and published it in three languages (Russian, English and Italian).
